Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Chief Duties and Responsibilities:

Requirements

• Overseeing receiving warehousing and distribution operations.
• Implementing operational policies and procedures.
• Implementing and overseeing security operations.
• Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
• Ensuring the safety of staff.
• Motivating and disciplining staff.
• Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
• Analyzing KPIs daily and making necessary adjustments to staff needed to maximize output/efficiency
• Maintaining all safety records
• Assisting with day-to-day operations where necessary
• Detail minded organized and strong problem-solving skills.
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship with all personnel.
• May require heavy lifting.
• Maintain a clean orderly safe work area and perform other work as directed.
• Outstanding leadership organizational multitasking and problem-solving skills.

Other Competencies:

• Ability to self-manage show initiative and be proactive
• Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.

Basic Qualifications:

• Associates degree or higher preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
• Intermediate Excel
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Strong experience with warehouse management systems

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to remain in stationary position 50%
• Frequently will move about inside the office and warehouse
• Must be able to operate basic office machinery
• Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
• Constantly in warehouse environment

Mental Demands:

• Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasks
• Must be able to manage stress depending on tasks
• Must be able to multitask
• Must be able to receive and analyze information
• Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur
• Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement
