Southern Glazers offers a competitive compensation package with an hourly pay rate of $20.75 / hour plus determining a final offer the company will evaluate a specific candidates education skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

The Warehouse Loader ensures loads are built and loaded accurately in a timely manner.

• Loading route vehicles in accordance to load sheets
• Ensuring the product is properly counted and tagged with account information to ensure accurate loading of trucks.
• Operating warehouse equipment including forklift lift gate dock-leveler and wrap machine
• Ensuringdamaged product is placed in its proper area and reported to management
• Keeping the work area clean and accessible
• Safely operates essential warehouse equipment including forklifts wrap machines and other automation
• Ensures that the warehouse is kept neat and orderly to promote safe and efficient operations
• Maintains favorable working relationships with employees and customers to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience working in a warehouse and/or distribution environment
• 21 years of age preferred
• Previous experience operating a forklift preferred

• Physical demands include a considerable amount of time walking bending reaching standing squatting and stooping
• Must be able to frequently lift lower push carry or pull up to48pounds
• Must be able to regularly sit and operate machinery such as a forklift pallet jacks and battery change stations
• Work may involve repetitive motions working at varying heights and exposure to warehouse environmental conditions
• Extended hours overtime weekends and peakseason schedules may be required
