Warehouse & Field Runner
Job Summary
- Inventory Control: Receive unload inspect and organize incoming construction materials and project supplies.
- Staging & Kitting: Review project pull-sheets to accurately prep pack and stage materials for upcoming jobs so field crews can load out efficiently.
- Equipment Maintenance: Track test clean and organize company power tools and electrical equipment; report any broken or unsafe gear.
- Shop Upkeep: Maintain a highly organized clean and safe warehouse layout to ensure quick access to assets.
- Material Deliveries: Safely operate company box trucks pickup trucks and vans to transport materials directly to active jobsites.
- Urgent Field Runs: Respond quickly to last-minute field requests for missing parts or tools to eliminate crew downtime.
- Site Cleanups & Returns: Retrieve excess materials tools and rental equipment from completed jobsites and return them to the central warehouse.
- Vendor Pickups: Collect specialized or local orders from regional supply houses and vendors.
- Driving Record: Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (Must pass an insurance background check).
- Vehicle Familiarity: Confident and capable of safely driving and parking non-CDL commercial box trucks pickup trucks and cargo vans.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift push pull and carry heavy construction materials weighing up to 75 lbs regularly.
- Tool Knowledge: Familiarity with common construction hand tools and electrical equipment.
- Reliability: Strict adherence to the 7:00 AM 4:00 PM shift schedule to ensure morning field rollouts are supported.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to coordinate effectively with project managers and field foremen.
