SUMMARY
Sidney Electric Company has a need for a Warehouse Driver / Worker in Lima OH. The primary duties of this position consist of Warehouse duties and driver duties as needed.

Warehouse Worker Duties:
- Packs and loads material and equipment onto trucks for delivery.
- Receives incoming material from haulers and company vehicles.
- Follow all proper documentation and procedures for warehouse functions.
- Pulls material from the warehouse in a timely manner for job sites and other areas as required using forklifts pallet jacks and other related material handling equipment.
- Assists in unloading and loading trucks and other vehicles as required.
- Returns to stock material from job sites and other projects as required.
- Keeps warehouse clean and material stored in an orderly manner.
- Organize tools and equipment for easy access.
- Maintain inventory of all material tools equipment and supplies.
- Adheres to all safety procedures and Company policies.
- Provide customer support in a courteous and professional manner.
- Actively participate in warehouse meetings when required.
- Perform general Warehouse cleanup some painting such as painting and stenciling of gang boxes and other miscellaneous duties.
Driver Duties:
- Transport Tooling/Material/Equipment to and from specified locations using company trucks in a safe and timely manner.
- Drive various types of vehicles including pickups service vans box vans and stake body trucks.
- Follow all safety protocols including wearing proper personal protective equipment on construction sites gloves and eye protection in work areas.
- Keep vehicles clean and free of dirt and debris.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Follow all company fleet and driver policies and procedures.
- Provide manager with signed paperwork from field deliveries.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required depending on position.
- Prefer experience working in warehousing.
- Effective communication skills and experience in working with others.
- Background and drug screening required.
- Ability to drive box vans and stake body trucks.
- Acceptable driving record that meets company approved driver criteria.
- Prefer experience operating forklifts. The company will re-certify candidate if hired.
- Physical demands of the position require the candidate to be able to periodically lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.
- Must have reliable transportation to the Warehouse facility. Warehouse vehicles are not taken home by the drivers.
- Possess or be willing to obtain a CDL for vehicles over 26000 lbs.
- Be willing to participate in Companys DOT driver program.
- Computer experience and knowledge are helpful.
- Must be able to work a 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM work shift and work overtime as needed.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to commute to field locations and various job sites. The employee must have the ability to navigate around job site locations.
