Warehouse Coordinator

EMS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic team. You will play a critical role in maintaining optimal warehouse performance by coordinating shipping and receiving activities. Ask about our sign-on bonus!

Position Summary:

Manage warehouse resources in support of business requirements. Responsible for normal and exception outbound processing to ensure customer orders are shipped accurately. Assist in other areas in logistics.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare/package materials for shipment to outside processing or customers
• Fill orders or requisitions for materials by locating retrieving unpackaging and kitting or delivering materials to plant locations.
• Verify correctness of shipments against bills of lading invoices or other records.
• Check for shortages and reject damaged goods.
• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks and movement of materials to storage locations.
• Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping order and cleanliness in the area.
• Receive materials equipment merchandise and similar items in a storeroom or warehouse.
• Store items in high/low bay racks in bins or on the floor. Includes marking or tagging items for identification.
• Complete Oracle / Maximo inventory and other ERP transactions.
• Safely operate a fork lift truck overhead crane or other material handling equipment
• Prepare records of goods shipped by making bills of lading posting weight and shipping charges and maintaining shipping records
• Wear all required PPE at all times.
• Other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

• High School or Equivalency Diploma
• 4-6 years in outbound-transportation environment/export experience
• Previous lead experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in high pressure environment with minimal oversight
• Knowledge of personal computers and associated business software and ability to learn Oracle transactions
