We have a great opportunity to join our Warehouse Team at our Hudson WI branch. The Warehouse/Backup Driver increases operational efficiency company profitability and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing materials processing incoming and outgoing shipments and ensuring complete and on-time orders for the companys customers. Backup Drivers provide order and delivery services according to the mission and culture of JHL.

Responsibilities Include:

• Pick fill and pack orders on a timely basis to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries including picking pipe and wire cutting when applicable.
• Load and unload materials and trucks
• Safely utilize power equipment when necessary to fulfill orders and restock warehouse shelves.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized including disposal of leftover packing materials such as wooden crates pallets and cardboard
• Maintain accurate inventory management and take inventory of materials shipped or received. Refill primary bins using proper procedures and minimizing open boxes
• Receive and process incoming stock and materials
• Deliver products to customers in absence of FT driver
• Communicate with other departments and branches regarding order status or inventory issues. Work in a team environment to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse

Education

• Highschool diploma or GED

Experience and/or Training

• 1 year working in a warehouse environment as a team member working with power equipment such as forklifts and pulling orders. A solid understanding of warehouse operations including receiving storage picking packing and shipping processes
• Minimum 1 year experience driving a medium-duty commercial or delivery vehicle in all weather conditions
• Takes initiative while displaying leadership qualities
• Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with team members
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Ability to collaborate within a multi-functional team
• Ability to work safely and accurately
• Strong math skills (addition subtraction multiplication) and reading skills
• Detail oriented organized consistent and tenacious
• Organized with strong time management skills
• 2 years in a warehouse setting working with power equipment an RF Scanner a forklift wire cutting and pulling orders preferred

Licenses/Certificates

• Valid US Drivers license
• Clean Driving Record
• Up-to-date federal medical card preferred
