Summary of Job:
The Warehouse Associate supports day-to-day warehouse operations with a focus on cleaning refurbishment and assembly of reusable packaging general facility upkeep and accurate digital record-keeping. This role requires maintaining a clean organized workspace in a hands-on warehouse environment.
Must-have/Required skills:
Ability to independently lift carry and maneuver items weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
Ability to stand for prolonged periods bend and perform repetitive motion tasks
General experience operating manual and/or electric pallet jacks
Strong attention to detail in packaging quality and administrative duties
Basic computer and data entry skills
Ability to use internal systems for data entry and document management
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attendance and punctuality
Ability to inspect clean and refurbish reusable packaging materials
Ability to assemble packaging according to specifications and operational requirements
Ability to identify damaged or non-reusable packaging and escalate issues as needed
Ability to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
Ability to accurately enter and maintain packaging inventory and status information within internal systems
Ability to upload organize and file digital paperwork in accordance with company procedures
Ability to adhere to company policies SOPs and workplace health and safety regulations
Nice-to-have skills:
Previous experience in a warehouse distribution or manufacturing environment
Familiarity with reusable packaging programs or sustainable logistics practices
Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory tracking tools
Key responsibilities and duties:
Inspect clean and refurbish reusable packaging materials to company standards.
Build out and assemble packaging according to specifications and operational requirements.
Identify damaged or non-reusable packaging and escalate for disposal or replacement as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment including emptying trash and recycling receptacles.
Keep work areas staging zones and common spaces organized and free of hazards.
Accurately enter and maintain packaging inventory and status information within internal tracking systems.
Upload organize and file digital paperwork according to company procedures.
Adhere to company policies standard operating procedures and workplace health and safety regulations.
Participate in safety briefings and training as required.
Operate manual and/or electric pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse.
