Job Summary
Volt is hiring for a Warehouse Associate position with a leading industrial equipment company in Chalfont PA.
As a Warehouse Associate you will:
Pick pack and ship customer orders
Receive and stock incoming purchase orders
Resolve discrepancies involving quantities ordered received or shipped
Perform daily cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies
Pull parts materials and finished goods for production or shipment
Count weigh and accurately record inventory transactions
Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials
Select appropriate containers and packaging for customer shipments
Assemble shipping crates using hand and power tools
Package products using spacers fillers and protective materials
Load and unload materials from pallets racks trays and shelves
Operate material handling equipment
Stock materials and verify correct bin locations
Create and label new inventory locations as needed
Use saws and nail guns as required

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
25 years of warehouse or related experience
12 years of forklift experience
Basic math skills
Knowledge of warehouse and shipping practices and procedures
Computer experience including word processing and spreadsheet software
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment
Strong planning problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to frequently stand walk and lift throughout the workday
Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned warehouse environment
Pay: $25.00$26.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
