Warehouse and Counter Sales Associate

Seeking a Warehouse and Counter Sales Associate to join a leading HVAC manufacturing organization supporting both warehouse functions and customer-facing sales activities.

This role requires versatility to perform warehouse duties such as receiving shipping and inventory management alongside providing counter sales support and customer service. The position demands a proactive team player ready to assist in various store operations.

• PAY RATE: 20.00 hour
• HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm (M-F)

• Hiring a Warehouse Associate with Forklift and Counter Sales or Customer Service experience to support an HVAC Manufacturing Organization that is the leader in climate control products. Need a team player who is okay with helping where needed in the store someone who can support Warehouse Operations - not just forklift; whether working in the warehouse at the counter helping customers or could be answering phones.
• Under general supervision performs manual warehouse and computer clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials supplies equipment and finished products.
• Receives goods verifies items against the record of shipment and inspects condition.
• Gathers verifies and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Routes materials supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Completes written and computerized documentation.
• High School diploma or GED - Required
• Drug Test
• Background Check (Felony and Misdemeanor last 7 years)
• Forklift operation - Required
• Counter Sales or Customer Service experience
• Computer skills to look up parts for customers and customer orders
• SAP EWM experience would be preferred
• Shipping and Receiving experience
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good computer skills required: Microsoft applications.
• General HVAC knowledge helpful
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out manual warehouse and clerical tasks related to shipment and receipt of materials supplies equipment and finished products.
• Receive goods verify shipment accuracy and inspect product condition.
• Prepare and pack items for shipment following specifications and transportation requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of received and shipped items using computerized systems.
• Direct materials supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Support customers at the sales counter and handle phone inquiries as needed.
• Complete all necessary written and computerized documentation.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Pass drug test and background check (felony and misdemeanor last 7 years).
• Required forklift operation skills.
• Experience in counter sales or customer service.
• Computer skills for parts lookup and order processing.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP EWM experience.
• Shipping and receiving experience.
• General HVAC knowledge.
