Vulnerability Engineer

We are looking for a Vulnerability Engineer to support and enhance cybersecurity operations vulnerability management and security engineering initiatives across the organization. This role will work closely with technical teams project managers senior leadership and key stakeholders to identify security risks strengthen security controls support incident response and ensure cybersecurity initiatives align with business objectives and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Manage and support vulnerability management activities including identifying assessing prioritizing and helping remediate security vulnerabilities.

• Partner with senior leadership project managers and stakeholders to align cybersecurity initiatives with organizational objectives.

• Communicate cybersecurity risks remediation strategies incident status and security performance metrics to technical and executive stakeholders.

• Support security operations and SOC activities including threat detection monitoring incident response containment and remediation.

• Develop and implement security operations strategies processes and governance frameworks.

• Ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity standards policies and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate cybersecurity projects resources timelines risks and deliverables.

• Support the design and implementation of secure communication protocols and cybersecurity controls.

• Contribute to the integration of physical security and cybersecurity measures where applicable.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to cybersecurity team members and promote continuous improvement.

• Support the design development and implementation of secure solutions within hosted production environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Technology Information Systems Engineering or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience/training.

• 35 years of experience in Vulnerability Management.

• 35 years of experience in Cybersecurity Engineering.

• 35 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience including designing developing and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments.

• 35 years of professional experience involving software design and/or open-source technologies.

• Experience with security operations threat detection incident response and cybersecurity risk management.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical risks and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Technology Information Systems Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• 5 years of full SDLC experience.

• Experience developing or implementing generative AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI GPT Google Gemini or Llama.

• Python Programming or Artificial Intelligence certification.
