Vita Program Assistant (Perkins Grant/FWS) SC1VITAPAACCT (FA26)
Student Worker Eligibility:
Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semesteror 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student GPA requirement is waived.
If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with organizational and administrative tasks related to the Accounting 2200 Income Tax Preparation VITA program. This student would take a leadership role at the tax preparation site in handling clients workflow and assisting with compilation of registration information and survey data.
Qualifications:
- Education
- THIS IS A STUDENT JOB.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above.
- If a first semester student GPA requirement is waived.
- If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
- Experience
- Good communications skill requireds; verbal as well as written required.
- Social media proficiency preferred: the ability to post on Facebook and Twitter preferred.

Working Conditions:
Pay Rate: Student Rate 1 - $15.00 per hour
