Title: Virtual Clinical Therapist

Requirements and Schedule:

  • Licensure:Must beindependentlylicensed as a therapist in the state of MA. Highly preferred 3 years post independent licensure experience. Seeking experience in IOP/PHP settings.

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p

RoleSummary:

Virtual Therapists are responsible for providing high-quality care and therapeutic services to individuals dealing with various behavioral issues. The therapist will use telehealth to facilitate 1:1 and group therapy develop and implement treatment plans conduct assessments and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective behavioral health interventions.Guidelight is committed to the professional growth and development of therapists and provides free clinical supervision hours to support clinicians.

RoleResponsibilities/Competencies:

  • Conduct psychologicalandbiopsychosocialassessments and evaluations todetermineclients needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions including individual group and family therapy.
  • Monitor and document clients progress and adjust treatment plansto create a cohesive case conceptualization.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including psychiatrists social workers and medical doctors to provide comprehensiveandcontinuityofcare.
  • Completes suicide risk assessment within identifiedtime framesand withappropriate thoroughnessand scoringwhile consulting with clinical leaders.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviewsdetermininglength of stay and level of care.
  • Assess andidentifycommunity resources based onclientsneeds during treatment/ aftercare planning.
  • Adhere to all standardized Group Curriculum and Treatment Planning.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health and behavioral issueswhile building supportive and trusting relationships
  • Comes preparedtoweekly clinical supervision with relevant client updates case formulations and questions to support high-quality care.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical guidelines as outlined by professional standards and laws.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and developments in behavioral therapy and mental health.

Required Qualifications

  • Amasters degree in psychology Counseling Social Work or a related field.
  • ValidMAindependentlicensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Licensed Mental Health Counselor Licensed Professional Counselor or equivalent
  • Willingness and ability to obtain additional state licenses as requested
  • If eligible based on licensure status and applicable state regulations must be willing to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians as part of Guidelights supervision program. This includes actively supporting the development of associate licensed professionals in accordance with organizational standards and state-specific supervisory requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience providingbehavioral therapycounselingandgroup therapy.
  • Ability to manage clients effectively invirtual settings including adapting interventions to a telehealth environment.
  • Comfort and competence with technology including navigating HIPAA-compliant video platforms EMRs and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Strong engagement skills in a virtual space(ability to build rapportmaintaingroup cohesion and intervene effectively when clients disengage).
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learntelehealth best practices including crisis response and safety planning in a remote setting.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while stayingclosely connectedto adistributed virtual team.
  • Commitment to creating asupportive and inclusive virtual group culturethat mirrors the Guidelight client experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experiencefacilitatinggroup therapy in an IOP/PHP/RES/IP setting.
  • Experience working virtually
  • 3 years experience post independent licensure
