Full-Time Four 10-Hour Shifts

Cleveland Park Animal Hospital has been caring for Greenvilles pets for generations and were looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to become an important part of our medical team. This role is perfect for someone who is confident in a clinical setting enjoys working directly with patients and clients and is willing to jump in wherever help is needed to keep the hospital running smoothly.

As a Veterinary Assistant youll support our doctors and technicians throughout the day by helping provide outstanding care to patients while creating a positive experience for pet owners.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Safely restraining and handling canine and feline patients
• Assisting veterinarians during examinations and medical procedures
• Administering treatments and medications as directed
• Collecting laboratory samples and performing basic in-house diagnostics
• Preparing exam rooms and treatment areas for patient care
• Monitoring hospitalized patients and reporting changes to the medical team
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Communicating clearly with clients about treatments medications and follow-up care
• Assisting with cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital including treatment boarding and grooming areas

• Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant is required
• Strong animal handling and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced team-oriented practice
• Reliable organized and eager to learn
• Positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed

• Four 10-hour shifts each week
• Every fourth Saturday
• Participation in holiday and occasional treatment weekend rotations
