Job Purpose

The Warehouse & Logistics Manager is responsible for ensuring the safe reliable and cost-effective flow of materials and finished goods across the site and its third-party logistics operation.
The role leads the end-to-end warehouse and logistics organization ensuring material availability inventory accuracy delivery performance productivity and cost effectiveness. The Manager leads approximately 30 direct and indirect employees and establishes a culture of safety accountability operational excellence and continuous improvement.
The role also ensures effective integration and performance of the off-site third-party warehouse with clear accountability and seamless coordination between internal and external operations.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership People & Culture
Lead develop and engage a team of approximately 30 direct and indirect employees fostering a culture of safety accountability ownership and operational excellence.
Ensure effective workforce planning performance management capability development cross-training and succession planning.
Set clear expectations and hold the organization accountable for safety service quality productivity inventory and cost performance.

Warehouse & Logistics Operations
Lead safe efficient and reliable end-to-end warehouse and logistics operations from receiving and material storage through production supply finished goods handling and outbound shipping.
Ensure effective planning prioritization and coordination of material flows to meet production and customer requirements.
Establish and maintain robust processes standard work and operational discipline to deliver high levels of service productivity and reliability.

Off-Site Warehouse & 3PL Management
Own the operational interface with the third-party logistics provider and ensure effective performance within the agreed hybrid operating model.
Establish clear accountability processes service expectations and communication between the site and 3PL.
Monitor 3PL performance and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement across service safety quality inventory capacity and cost.

Inventory & Material Control
Ensure effective control and availability of raw materials packaging work-in-process pre-batched materials and finished goods across the warehouse and logistics network.
Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy material traceability and transactional discipline while minimizing loss damage obsolescence and unnecessary handling.

HSE&S Quality & Compliance
Ensure warehouse and logistics operations meet all company HSE&S quality and regulatory requirements with particular focus on the safe handling storage and movement of chemical and hazardous materials.
Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks and ensure timely resolution of safety quality and compliance issues.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Lead the operational excellence agenda for warehouse and logistics driving standardization productivity waste reduction and continuous improvement.
Use data and performance insights to identify priorities and deliver measurable improvements in safety service quality cost inventory and productivity.
Build a problem-solving culture where employees take ownership of improving processes and performance.

Performance & Communication
Establish and manage clear KPIs targets and performance routines aligned with site and business objectives.
Communicate priorities performance risks and improvement actions effectively across the site shifts functions and external partners.
Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration and alignment with Production Supply Chain Quality EHS and other relevant stakeholders.
Perform other related activities and responsibilities as required to support site and business objectives.

Job Requirements

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Logistics Operations Engineering Business or a related field.
5 years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse logistics supply chain or manufacturing operations.
Demonstrated experience leading teams in a high-volume operationally complex environment.
Experience with warehouse management inventory control material flow and outbound logistics; experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment is preferred.
Experience managing third-party logistics providers or outsourced warehouse operations is preferred.
Strong leadership people development performance management and change management skills.
Strong planning prioritization problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Effective communicator capable of working across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office; strong ability to use data to manage operational performance.
Demonstrated commitment to HSE&S operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Rewards & Benefits

Salary range for this role is: $100000 to $112000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
