UX Researcher – User Experience and Product Strategy Specialist

Are you passionate about enhancing user experiences and influencing product strategy We are looking for a UX Researcher to lead impactful research initiatives across hardware and software platforms.

This role involves leading end-to-end UX research efforts to improve user experiences across consumer IoT devices heavy equipment controls and B2B portal platforms. You will conduct diverse research methods including interviews usability testing surveys and field studies to gather insights that inform product design and strategy. Collaboration with Product Managers UX Designers and Engineers is key to delivering user-centered solutions in both digital and physical environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute qualitative and quantitative UX research studies.
• Recruit participants and conduct interviews contextual inquiries usability testing surveys diary studies and field research.
• Translate research findings into actionable insights that drive product strategy and user-centered design.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Product Engineering and Design.
• Manage research repositories and promote accessible evidence-based design practices.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of UX research experience supporting digital products and/or connected hardware.
• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Experience conducting usability testing contextual inquiry interviews surveys diary studies and field research.
• Strong ability to synthesize complex research findings into clear recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional Product Engineering and Design teams.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
• Experience with research repositories and insight management tools (e.g. Dovetail UserTesting Maze Qualtrics UserZoom or similar).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with consumer IoT products industrial equipment interfaces or enterprise/B2B applications.
• Familiarity with hardware-software ecosystems and connected device experiences.
• Experience researching both technical and non-technical user populations.
