Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Operate UV coloring equipment to process optical fiber according to production specifications.
- Complete inventory and production transactions accurately in Oracle.
- Re-palletize finished colored fiber and prepare material for shipment or internal transfer.
- Coordinate with Shipping and Receiving to ensure timely movement of materials to designated locations.
- Perform daily machine inspections and routine maintenance tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of machine parts tooling and the work area.
- Monitor product quality and report any equipment or process issues.
- Follow all safety quality and operational procedures.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Demonstrated performer with 3 years of discrete manufacturing experience in cable manufacturing
- Current AFL manufacturing process certification
- Current EHS/Quality certification and EHS training
- No pending active or a repetitive history of disciplinary action
- Very detail oriented (Mistakes cause lose in production)
- Dependable with exceptional attendance history
- Available to work a day shift 2-2-3 schedule (7a-7p)
