Key Responsibilities

  • System Operations: Oversee the daily operation of plant utilities including chilled/purified water vacuum pumps nitrogen generation compressed air and heating systems.
  • Maintenance: Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs using CMMS. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment issues.
  • Projects: Support capital improvement projects system upgrades and energy conservation initiatives from planning through commissioning.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all systems comply with OSHA EPA and local environmental regulations. Champion workplace safety and ensure strict adherence to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Chemical or Industrial Engineering (or Associates degree with 7 years of relevant experience).
  • Experience: 4 years of hands-on experience managing industrial utility systems (e.g. HVAC PCW DI water compressed air) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Ability to read P&IDs and technical drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and experience with maintenance management software.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  1. Regular predictable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
  2. Ability to move throughout offices manufacturing facilities and construction areas including walking standing bending kneeling and climbing stairs or ladders.
  3. Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 2550 pounds with occasional heavier lifting as required with or without reasonable accommodation.
  4. Ability to work in varied environments including offices industrial and construction settings.
  5. Willingness to travel to other job sites as business needs require.
