Key Responsibilities
- System Operations: Oversee the daily operation of plant utilities including chilled/purified water vacuum pumps nitrogen generation compressed air and heating systems.
- Maintenance: Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs using CMMS. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment issues.
- Projects: Support capital improvement projects system upgrades and energy conservation initiatives from planning through commissioning.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all systems comply with OSHA EPA and local environmental regulations. Champion workplace safety and ensure strict adherence to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Chemical or Industrial Engineering (or Associates degree with 7 years of relevant experience).
- Experience: 4 years of hands-on experience managing industrial utility systems (e.g. HVAC PCW DI water compressed air) in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Ability to read P&IDs and technical drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and experience with maintenance management software.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Regular predictable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
- Ability to move throughout offices manufacturing facilities and construction areas including walking standing bending kneeling and climbing stairs or ladders.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 2550 pounds with occasional heavier lifting as required with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work in varied environments including offices industrial and construction settings.
- Willingness to travel to other job sites as business needs require.
