Utility Operator III-1st Shift

You will be based in our Springfield TN location. This shift will start at 4:45 am and end at 1:30 pm depending on the production schedule.

Your main tasks:

• Performs all duties on the assembly lines and/or operating a Powered Industrial Truck to provide plant wide support when needed
• Tests and repairs ranges appliances
• Trains new associates on job tasks and assists in follow-up of quality issues
• Troubleshoots functional defects
• Repair workmanship errors
• May perform other job duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 years experience testing repairing and troubleshooting appliances or mechanical system
• 1 years experience with assisting with quality issue resolution and process improvements
• Must achieve Powered Industrial Lift Truck certification within 6 months of hire
• Must achieve EMS Yellow Gear Certification within 30 days of hire and EMS Green Gear Certification within 12 months

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift packages 40 lbs. or less on a consistent basis
• Should be able to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.
• Should be able to handle repetitive twisting lifting pulling pushing reaching and bending
• Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet
