Utility Maintenance Technician

Utility Maintenance Person is responsible for supporting the upkeep cleanliness and basic maintenance of KDMs facility equipment and grounds. Working under the direction of the Maintenance Manager this entry-level role helps ensure the facility operates safely and efficiently while supporting maintenance activities across the organization. The ideal candidate is dependable mechanically inclined safety-focused and willing to learn a variety of hands-on maintenance and facility support responsibilities.

• Transportation & Errands
• Safety & Compliance
• Facility Organization & Housekeeping

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn maintenance skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic reliability and team-oriented attitude.
• Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication division fractions and decimals.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Preferred

• Experience in a maintenance facilities manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience performing minor repairs general upkeep or preventative maintenance tasks.
• Ability to operate company vehicles for transportation of parts supplies and equipment.
