US-Based Human Transcriber

Responsibilities
- Listen to audio and video recordings and create accurate written transcripts.
- Follow transcription guidelines and formatting standards.
- Review and edit transcripts for grammar spelling punctuation and consistency.
- Meet quality and productivity targets while maintaining accuracy.
- Conduct basic research when needed to verify names terminology or references.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
- Degree in a reading- and writing-intensive field such as:

- Philosophy

- Sociology
- International Relations
- Other Liberal Arts disciplines
- Excellent written English skills including grammar spelling and punctuation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable internet connection and computer.

- Prior transcription editing proofreading research or content review experience.
- Experience working with deadlines and quality standards.
