Job Description -

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills- Strong hands-on experience with Unix and Perl scripting for application development and support.

Working knowledge of C programming with the ability to make minor code changes compile and deploy.

Experience with messaging systems preferably IBM MQ.

Good working knowledge of Sybase databases.

Strong experience in query tuning and database design/modeling.

Experience with mainframe connectivity including tools such as Shadow Direct.

Working knowledge of CGI programming.

Experience with Apache web servers.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop maintain and support applications using Unix and Perl.

Perform minor enhancements and fixes in C programs including compilation and deployment.

Work on messaging interfaces (IBM MQ) for system integration and communication.

Write optimize and tune database queries and support database design improvements.

Manage connectivity and data exchange with mainframe systems.

Develop and maintain CGI-based components and web modules.

Support and troubleshoot applications running on Apache web servers.

Monitor application performance and handle production issues effectively.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects.

Participate in release cycles deployments and post-production support activities.

Ensure timely delivery of tasks while maintaining quality and stability of applications.
