Job Summary
This role serves as a key liaison between the Lightspeed Underwriting Department and other business units focusing on process improvements and maintaining efficient communication. Responsibilities include managing record updates processing returned mail conducting outbound calls relaying failed payments and ensuring compliance with company guidelines. The position also involves organizing and escalating issues for resolution indexing email correspondence handling legal document signatures and supporting additional tasks and projects as needed all while adhering to established productivity and quality standards.
Duties and responsibilities
- Acts as a single point of contact between the Lightspeed Underwriting Department and other business units for process improvement projects.
- Processes corrections or adjusts records when needed following the appropriate company guidelines
- Utilize strong analytical skills to assess complex situations identify key information and develop solutions
- Accurately processing and implementing adjustments to policy coverages in accordance with program guidelines and the policy holders request
- Reviews organizes and forwards information to be escalated for resolution as needed
- Adheres to the established productivity and quality metrics established
- Processes returned mail from post office and maintains records of registered mail express delivery mail and packages
- Providing support via chat to assist agents with inquiries and coverage adjustments
- Other tasks and projects as may be assigned
Essential Functions
- Ability to use computer systems to process record corrections
- Ability to understand and interpret written company guidelines
- Ability to communicate in a professional and clear manner with other departments
- Ability to handle more than one task simultaneously
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM
- Ability to adhere to attendance schedule on-site
- Ability to obtain resident licensing through the Florida DFS and reciprocal licensing in all 50 states in the continental US
Licensing Requirements
Please note that most organizations overseeing Property and Casualty licensure requirements including the Florida Department of Financial Services require individuals to answer background questions about criminal history and undergo fingerprinting as part of the licensing process. Obtaining applicable licensure is a requirement for this position.

- Familiarity with office support tasks and related activities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Skilled in accurate keyboard data entry.
- Proficient in using computer keyboards and mail equipment.
- Competence in understanding instructions correspondence and memos.
- Maintain meticulous records in company databases to ensure traceability and accountability.
- Ability to follow both written and verbal directions precisely.
- Adaptable resilient and able to thrive in changing environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities to identify and address issues in processes equipment or human interactions effectively.
Physical requirements
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Good manual dexterity with the capability to perform repetitive physical movements such as pushing pulling reaching bending and lifting as needed.
Working conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones copiers filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is in office only and not a hybrid position.
