REQUIREMENT:Must have a valid Oregon State DPSST Guard Card

Duties

• Communicate effectively with customers and store staff; provide customer service when needed
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter (conditions vary by site)
• Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
• Monitor and authorize entrance

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Strong surveillance skills and attention to detail
• Integrity professionalism and a sharp appearance

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience
• Valid state-issued Guard Card (DPSST)
• Valid state or government-issued ID
• Must be at least 18 years old (or meet state minimum age requirement)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation

Additional Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read write speak and understand English well
• Strong customer service skills

Specific Post Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors
• Ability to remain calm in stressful or difficult situations
