Pay: $21.00/Hour

Responsibilities of Security Officers include but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty including assisting with directions and general business information.
• Enforce site rules by warning or reporting individuals violating regulations (e.g. loitering smoking carrying prohibited items).
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to identify safety and security risks.
• Respond to alarms emergency calls and incidents involving unauthorized individuals injuries or fires.
• Notify appropriate emergency services (police fire department EMS) when necessary.
• Accurately complete and submit reports records and incident documentation in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the security manager.

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Iowa Security License including state accredited training requirements
• Valid Drivers License
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read write speak and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job which can include lifting 50 lbs completing foot patrols walking up and down stairs working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:
Bi-lingual considered a plus.
Weekend availability required
