Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Ultrasound Tech you will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations providing essential imaging for accurate diagnoses and patient care.

Every day you will perform diverse ultrasound procedures on various patient populations using advanced equipment. Youll prepare patients acquire/process optimal images recognize/document pathology and provide preliminary findings. Maintaining equipment adhering to safety protocols and collaborating with radiologists are key.

To be successful you will possess strong technical proficiency in ultrasound a deep understanding of anatomy/physiology/pathology and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication for patient/team interaction and a commitment to diagnostic accuracy/patient safety are essential.

  • Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.
  • Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
  • Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
  • Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.
  • Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect if identified.
  • Understands role of and how to access the Bioethics Committee.
Job Requirements

  • Completion of a formal UltrasoundTraining Program upon hire and
  • Less than 1 year clinical experience/training upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire and


Preferred

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer upon hire
