You will design the UEFI BIOS firmware architecture collaborate with ODM to develop BIOS and ensure its robustness against security threats. As a UEFI BIOS Engineer on the DCHWE team you will:nnDesign and implement custom features for the UEFI complex firmware with cross-functional partners to bring up the system validate the platform and triage issues.

BS/MS in EE/CE/CS or equivalent industry experience. n6 yrs as a UEFI BIOS or Firmware Engineer with UEFI BIOS experiencenStrong C/C programming skills including scripting in Bash and Python are essential. nGain an understanding of the AMI Aptio V and EDK2 development as well as industry-standard specifications like ACPI IPMI PCIe SMBIOS and UEFI.

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic and often ambiguous in server platform interfaces including PCIe I2C/I3C SPI PMBus UART GPIO PECI/APML and Ethernet debugging and problem-solving skills across HW/FW/SW boundaries with effective collaboration with vendor and hardware the system security features including secure/verified boot firmware signing TPM/ROT SPDM vulnerability management and hardening at with BMC and work on platform enablement. Familiarity with RAS concepts (fault management telemetry recovery).nAbility to anticipate identify and resolve technical and schedule challenges proactively.
