TITLE OF POSITION: Tutor

35 Hours/week

Alamo Elementary

STARTING DATE: 26-27 School Year

CLOSING DATE: August 9 2026 @ 4:00 p.m.

Requirements:

All tutors must be highly qualified as defined by ESSA (a minimum of 60 college credits or

successfully passing the ETS Paraprofessional Test).

A degree in elementary education or experience working with children in an instructional

setting is preferred.

Responsibilities (non-exhaustive list):

Provide tutoring for individual and/or small groups of students in a pull out or inclusion

program

Assist in progress monitoring as instructed by the teacher record the data and provide the data

to the classroom teacher or supervisor progress monitoring as instructed by the teacher

Assist the classroom teachers in the organization of materials and lessons
