Trust and Safety Associate

Stella Contracting Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trust and Safety Associate. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and will be based at our headquarters in location.

As a Trust and Safety Associate you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our company and its operations. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and enforce compliance with all safety regulations and protocols both within our company and on our job sites. This will involve conducting regular safety audits investigating any safety incidents and developing and implementing safety training programs for our employees.

In addition you will be responsible for managing our companys risk management program. This will involve identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them as well as working closely with our legal team to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized detail-oriented and able to work independently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety and risk management as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities:

- Monitor and enforce compliance with all safety regulations and protocols

- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections

- Investigate safety incidents and develop corrective action plans

- Develop and implement safety training programs for employees

- Manage the companys risk management program

- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them

- Work closely with the legal team to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to safety and risk management

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety Risk Management or a related field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in safety and risk management

- Knowledge of OSHA and other safety regulations

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
