Trial Card Analyst
Job Summary
Sayres is seeking an experienced Trial Card Analyst in Bath ME with a SECRET clearance verifiable in JPAS.
The Trial Card Analyst will support the PMS 400D Program primarily with the Discrepancy Management Process to include Database Management Underway Shipboard Trials Support Laptop Configuration/Networking Metrics and Data Quality and Configuration checks.
Responsibilities:
- The Trial Card Analyst will support the PMS 400D Program primarily with the Discrepancy Management Process to include Database Management Underway Shipboard Trials Support Laptop Configuration/Networking Metrics and Data Quality and Configuration checks.
- As database administrator will be providing trial card support utilizing TSM and ETC trial card applications.
- Setup standalone laptop networks onboard ship for use by Government Inspection Team providing administrative and IT support for the network and customers using the network and applications.
- Execute large data transfer to and from the standalone network.
- Process and analyze large quantities of data for the creation of summary metrics packages and various reports.
- Establish detailed records of all processes and build analytical tools in excel/access as needed to support efficient data analysis/evaluation.
- Build a strong relationship with Navy personnel to support any requests in a timely manner.
Minimum Skill Sets/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Access).
- Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain interim Secret clearance.
- Ability to get underway on a ship for at sea trial events climbing ladders and walking on steel decks.
Preferred Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates:
- Bachelors degree in any field.
- Minimum of one (1) year of shipbuilding industry experience.
- Technical and production deficiency management experience including experience with ETC and TSM.
- Experience with integration testing and trials including deficiency management corrective action tracking and engineering change management processes.
- Knowledge of ship delivery processes post-delivery work package development and Post Shakedown Availability (PSA) planning and execution.
- Installations setup configuration and maintenance of various hardware and software Installations.
- Network set up and configuration
