Faculty provide comprehensiveAcuteCare Surgeryincluding trauma emergency general surgery and surgical critical care.
Faculty members actively participate in:

Faculty rotate through:
- Acute Care Surgerycall(trauma emergency general surgery and initial resuscitationof burn patients)
- Surgical ICU attending weekscovering patients from all surgicalspecialties
Required
- MD or DO
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency
- Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Eligible for Texas medical licensure

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
