Training & Safety Coordinator

Overall ScopeThis position ensures adherence to company and regulatory agency policies including federal state and local environmental and safety regulations. Ensure all training is being completed and documented according to RequirementsAssociatedegreeand2yearsofsafetyexperienceinmanufacturing/distributionOR4yearsinasafetyroleinmanufacturing/distribution2yearsexperienceinatrainingcoordination/leadershipcapacityExperience leading cross-functional knowledge of OSHA regulations and to interact with federal state and local regulatory of workers compensation and liability insurance written and oral communication in Microsoft and DutiesEvaluate hazards within the facility for safety health and environmental risks and recommend existing health and safety procedures and programs for all departments and develop new procedures and programs where cross-training with training matrix and recommend /execute training plans with the facility Safety accident and injury investigations investigations of environmental incidents recommend appropriate action and manage OSHA 300 the Workers Compensation program in partnership with hourly education/training records for all employees with training matrix and reportsConduct all employee training on safety policies procedures and inspection policies and establish regular inspection and execute annual education plans for the budgetDevelop organize and conduct presentations and training other departmental duties as assigned by Human Resource ManagerErgonomic FocusWalking standing and sitting during an 8-hour shiftAbility to look up stoop and use ladders to reach to lift 10-40 lbs from ground level to waist to type and use computer and telephone equipment#LI-CB1 #LI-ONSITE
