Our client is an international wealth management firm providing investment advisory and wealth management services to both domestic and international clients. The business operates across multiple international markets and supports clients with the management of their investment portfolios.

The Miami team operates in an international hands-on environment working across investment and trading operations and coordinating closely with internal teams custodians and private banks.

About the Role

We are looking for a Trading Operations Analyst to join the team in Miami.

This is a hands-on role focused on the day-to-day execution and processing of investment trades. Youll work across trade execution settlement reconciliations and portfolio operations helping ensure trading activity is processed accurately and efficiently.

The role suits someone who genuinely comes from the operations side of trading and understands the process from order execution through settlement and reconciliation. Alongside the day-to-day responsibilities youll also contribute to improving trading workflows operational controls and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor trading activity and process trade orders accurately and on time.

  • Manage trade settlement workflows and resolve settlement discrepancies.

  • Perform daily trading and portfolio reconciliations.

  • Maintain accurate positions and support corporate actions.

  • Maintain accurate account custodian and settlement information across operational systems.

  • Work directly with custodians and private banks on operational and trading matters.

  • Support regulatory and fiduciary requirements applicable to investment advisory operations.

  • Identify opportunities to improve trading workflows controls and operational processes.

  • Support documentation incident reviews and broader operational improvement initiatives.

Experience & Background

Required:

  • Hands-on experience within trading or investment operations.

  • Experience with trade/order execution settlement and financial reconciliations.

  • Understanding of financial products and market structure.

  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Active Series 65 license is required.

Preferred:

  • Experience with OMS/PMS or investment management platforms.

  • Experience working directly with custodians or private banks.

  • Understanding of RIA regulatory and fiduciary requirements.

  • Familiarity with equities fixed income and derivatives.

  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business Administration Engineering or a related field.

Languages
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.

  • Spanish is considered an advantage.

You should be comfortable working across multiple systems dealing directly with external counterparties and taking ownership of day-to-day trading operations.
