As the external trade compliance environment evolves Mattson Technology now operates independently from the parent company in product business and operations serving customers outside of China.

The role will support Mattsons trade compliance program and work closely with Shipping Purchasing Sales Engineering Product Management and outside logistics providerswith strong U.S. export/import compliance experience with particular emphasis on the EAR

Key Qualifications

  • 5 years of import/export compliance experience
  • Strong knowledge of EAR OFAC U.S. Customs and foreign trade regulations
  • ECCN and HTS classification experience
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day export and import compliance activities
  • Perform ECCN and HTS classifications
  • Maintain denied party screening and deemed export processes
  • Support licensing audits and compliance monitoring activities
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers
  • Assist with cross-functional trade compliance initiatives
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on import/export requirements
  • Support and maintain Mattsons overall trade compliance program
