Job Summary

Our client is a family founded and operated tool and die machine shop known for quality on-time response and precision machining. Incorporated in 1985 they are located in Waterbury Connecticut.

Our advanced techniques include Wire EDM Conventional EDM CNC Machining and other traditional processes. We convert your specifications and designs into superior products.

In the manufacturing process we utilize common as well as exotic materials including: Carbide Aluminum Delrin Titanium Tantalum Steel silver and Inconel among others.

Our work is done onsite including carbide and heat treatment. We have complete control throughout the production -house operations eliminate the need to ship to outside services. The result:

Reduced lead time and cost
Speed of delivery
Reduction or elimination of customer down time

Our client is currently seeking an experienced toolmaker with a minimum of seven years experience. Qualified candidates must have the ability to produce precision parts to blue print specifications and possess a working knowledge of multiple materials including aluminum mild steel tool steel alloy steel stainless steel titanium and a variety of plastics. Tolerances of .0002-.0005 are typical and a thorough understanding of geometrical tolerances is required.

Payrate
$35.00-40.00 an hr
