AerospaceTooling Technician
Location: Grand Prairie Tx
Shift: Days- 6:00AM-2:30PM
Starting Pay: $28.44/hour
Eligibility: Only U.S. Citizens Green Card holders and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.
As aTooling Technician you will be a crucial part of our operations ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect peoples lives!
Primary Responsibilities
- Determining and performing required maintenance (cleaning lubricating aligning/adjusting parts calibrating etc.).
- Testing troubleshooting and repairing machines and equipment.
- Ordering and Installing replacement parts.
- Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g. mechanical and electrical).
- Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability capability and yield.
- Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance).
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems.
- Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
- Preferred Tooling Experience of 4 to 5 years.
- Experience with welding and machining.
- Experience and understanding of lathe and milling machines
- Experience with CNC Machine for Metal
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools.
Ability to push/pull 51 lbs. or more.
Comfortable working in various environments including confined spaces and heights.
Ability to stand bend and kneel for extended periods
