La Mere Academy is a nurturing child-centered early learning program dedicated to supporting the growth and development of young children. We are seeking a compassionate energetic and dependable Toddler Teacher to lead a classroom of 2-year-old children and provide a safe engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

The Toddler Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing activities that support the social emotional cognitive language and physical development of two-year-old children. The ideal candidate is patient enthusiastic and passionate about early childhood education with the ability to foster strong relationships with children families and colleagues.

• Provide a safe loving and stimulating environment for children ages 24-36 months.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans activities and learning experiences.
• Support childrens language development social skills and emotional growth.
• Encourage independence through daily routines and self-help skills.
• Supervise and interact with children during classroom activities meals outdoor play and rest periods.
• Assist with diapering potty training handwashing and other personal care needs.
• Monitor and document developmental milestones and classroom observations.
• Use positive behavior guidance techniques to support childrens learning and development.
• Maintain a clean organized and engaging classroom environment.
• Follow all state licensing regulations health and safety standards and center policies.
• Build positive relationships with families and provide regular communication regarding childrens progress.
• Collaborate with teachers administrators and support staff to create a high-quality early learning experience.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of experience working with toddlers in a daycare childcare center preschool or early learning environment.
• Strong understanding of toddler development and age-appropriate practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to frequently bend lift sit on the floor and actively engage with children throughout the day.

• Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education Child Development or a related field.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Experience with potty training and toddler classroom management.
