TMC Freight Brokerage Operations Manager

Key Accountabilities:

• Direct and oversee all freight brokerage operations ensuring seamless execution of shipments and superior service delivery.
• Lead mentor and develop a team of logistics coordinators carrier reps and dispatchers to exceed performance targets.
• Build and maintain strong carrier and customer relationships negotiating competitive rates and ensuring capacity in volatile markets.
• Optimize load planning routing and carrier procurement using advanced TMS platforms and data-driven strategies.
• Ensure full compliance with DOT FMCSA and internal safety and regulatory standards.
• Analyze operational KPIs to identify trends eliminate inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales finance and customer service teams to align operational goals with business objectives.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or related field.
• 10 Years of Transportation/Logistics Leadership Experience including transportation management systems fleet management DOT and FMSCA Compliance.
• Proven ability to scale operations reduce costs and increase margins in fast-paced freight environments.
• Expertise in TMS optimization load consolidation and real-time freight visibility tools.
• A track record of building resilient carrier networks and navigating complex logistics challenges with agility.
• Strong leadership communication and analytical skills that foster a culture of accountability and innovation

Compensation up to $125k based on experience.
