Our teacher calendar includes meaningful breaks throughout the year including:

  • 9 consecutive days around Fall Break

  • 9 consecutive days around Thanksgiving

  • 17 consecutive days around Winter Break

  • A 4-day February weekend

  • 9 consecutive days around Spring Break

  • Labor Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day off

  • Summer beginning in May

  • No scheduled teacher workdays in June

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree or higher required.

Community Leadership Academy operates under a Colorado teacher licensure waiver so a traditional Colorado teaching license is not necessarily required. Candidates must meet applicable qualification requirements through an appropriate degree license or endorsement qualifying coursework or an approved content examination. We encourage applicants to review the Colorado Department of Education requirements below to determine eligibility.

Teacher License (and Interim Authorization) Requirements Colorado Department of Education:
teaching experience is preferred.

Strong classroom management instructional planning communication and collaboration skills are essential.
