Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Fulltime Day shift ( Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm)SummaryProvides counseling to individuals and/or families using multiple forms of therapeutic approaches including psycho-educational models and medical/illness models of assessment and diagnosis. Works with individuals and/or families to address issues such as depression addiction and substance abuse stress and problems with self-esteem. May also help with job and vocational concerns or JOB FUNCTIONSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:Provides assessments in the areas of mental status personality behavioral response patterns relationships and family individual counseling and support services and family psychotherapy as appropriate to training and program participant counseling in treatment planning with a trans-disciplinary with staff insurance provider family etc. about treatment recommendations and service summaries and billing slips for each program participant served indicating objectives strategies and outcomes obtained. Completes daily billing summaries and turns them in to appropriate CCS in-house seminars as scheduled and/or appropriate. Attends weekly discipline meeting and meetings with supervisor(s) as evaluation progress and discharge reports on each program participant are completed in a timely manner. Ensures adherence to accreditation standards and ethics of appropriate supervision and in-house activities for program participants as participates in Crisis Intervention System (Beeper Team).Performs other related duties and activities as Knowledge and Skills required by the JobThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or abilities required to perform the job:Education and Experience:Masters degree in a human services fieldTwo years of Licenses and Registrations:LMHC or similar licensure Requirements:Medium Work.
