As a Test Technician IV you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including ATP/ESS testing trouble shooting to the component level creating quality notifications. Our role is crucial in maintaining the flow of work and ensuring high-quality output.

This is for 1st Shift: Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm

What You Will Do:

• Follow and offer suggestions for improvement to Health and Safety guidelines ensuring safe work environment
• Testing a variety of electronic units using prescribed test procedures
• Setting up and operating various test stands
• Configuring Calibrating and Maintaining test equipment
• Interpreting and recording test results
• Recognizing and isolating test equipment failures
• Using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub-assembly and component level
• Reading and interpreting technical data such as component maintenance manuals engineering prints and schematics
• Effectively communicate work status to team members and support staff (e.g. shift pass down engineering maintenance)
• Work alone and as a member of a team to ensure production and quality goals are met
• Participate in formal and informal continuous improvement efforts and projects

Working Environment:

• You may occasionally need to provide weekend and holiday support to meet customer needs.
• In this role you will be exposed to: Products of various weights and sizes equipment with moving parts high potential (voltage/current) chemicals that may emit fumes.
• To minimize safety risk to you and product you must follow site static-control and personal protective equipment guidelines and procedures.

Physical Demands:

• Bending stooping reaching turning as needed to place units in test stands pick up totes place units on rack etc.
• Distinguishing colors and meeting vision requirements
• Using hands for extended periods of time to perform testing and troubleshooting tasks (e.g. grasping holding picking placing twisting fine manipulation)
• Sitting or standing at a workbench/test stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Transporting product with or without product carts

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Ability to read and interpret technical data.
• Prior experience with component level troubleshooting
• Working computer skills and knowledge of office software applications
• Electrical Technician Certification
• Certification in Electronics
