Test Engineer 2-FC

Provides application and systems testing support for a mission-critical environment with strict compliance and operational requirements. The position is responsible for executing functional and compliance-based testing troubleshooting issues documenting results and supporting the full software testing life cycle. The ideal candidate has solid Linux experience and the ability to work independently in a technical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform application-level and systems testing in support of mission requirements.
Execute functional testing of COTS and vendor-provided user client applications.
Verify applications properly interface and operate with ITS components and meet established compliance requirements.
Develop execute and document test cases procedures and results throughout the test life cycle.
Identify troubleshoot document and track defects and issues through resolution.
Perform testing and troubleshooting in Linux environments using command-line tools as needed.
Support compliance testing against defined technical security and operational requirements.
Work with engineering and operations teams to investigate issues and validate corrective actions.
Contribute to improving testing processes and test automation capabilities.
Solid understanding of and hands-on experience with Linux environments.
Experience performing application-level testing and troubleshooting.

Compensation: We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78000 to $250000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidates work location specific role skill set and level of expertise.
