Test Development Engineers

PGS Worldwide is seeking Test Development Engineers in Tewksbury Massachusetts for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. These positions will support the design integration and deployment of sophisticated test equipment used in advanced defense systems. Engineers will work across electrical hardware PCB design automated test software and test-station development in a multidisciplinary environment supporting RF power digital and analog technologies.

• Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline.
• 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with electrical test instruments and test equipment.
• Working knowledge of power electronics.
• Working knowledge of RF systems and circuits.
• Working knowledge of digital logic.
• Working knowledge of analog circuits.
• Experience developing automated test software.
• Experience with one or more of the following: C C C# LabVIEW or TestStand.
• Experience with electrical schematic capture and PCB design.
• Experience using ORCAD and/or Cadence Allegro for PCB design.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a structured process-driven engineering environment.

• Experience leading technical projects or engineering teams.
• Experience managing project cost and schedule.
• Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
• Microsoft Project experience.
• Experience with Department of Defense development lifecycle processes.
• Experience developing test stations fixtures or automated test systems for aerospace or defense applications.

• Design and develop electrical test stations and test fixtures.
• Create electrical schematics and support PCB design activities.
• Develop and integrate automated test software.
• Support test equipment used in engineering production and depot environments.
• Work across RF power digital and analog test applications.
• Execute assigned technical tasks within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Participate in scheduled project and technical meetings.
• Provide regular progress updates to project leadership.
• Support integration and deployment of test equipment.
• Contribute to both hardware and software development activities.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving test stations fixtures and automated test systems.
• Support engineering projects throughout the test-equipment development lifecycle.

• Full-time onsite in Tewksbury Massachusetts.
• 40 hours per week.

• $91.37 per hour.
