Job Summary
PGS Worldwide is seeking Interim Secret-Cleared Test Development Engineers Electrical Test Systems in Tewksbury Massachusetts for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. These positions will support the design development integration and deployment of complex electrical test equipment test stations fixtures and automated test software used in advanced defense manufacturing and depot environments. Openings are available across multiple experience levels including senior and principal-level positions.
- Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline.
- 2 years of relevant electrical engineering test engineering or test-equipment development experience.
- Principal-level openings require approximately 810 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with electrical test instruments and test equipment.
- Strong knowledge of one or more of the following: power electronics RF digital logic or analog circuitry.
- Experience designing electrical test stations fixtures or automated test systems.
- Experience with electrical schematic capture.
- Experience with printed circuit board design.
- Automated test software development experience.
- Experience with one or more programming or test-development environments such as C C C# LabVIEW or TestStand.
- Experience with ORCAD and/or Cadence Allegro for PCB design.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Interim Secret clearance or higher required to start.
- Experience leading technical projects or engineering work packages.
- Experience managing project cost and schedule.
- Familiarity with EVMS.
- Microsoft Project experience.
- Experience supporting DoD engineering or product-development lifecycle processes.
- Experience developing test equipment used in manufacturing depot or production environments.
- Experience working in process-driven engineering organizations.
- Design electrical test stations and test fixtures.
- Perform electrical schematic capture and PCB design.
- Develop automated test software.
- Support development of test systems involving power RF digital and analog circuitry.
- Integrate electrical hardware and automated test software.
- Support deployment of test equipment into manufacturing and depot environments.
- Execute assigned engineering tasks as part of multidisciplinary project teams.
- Participate in technical and project meetings.
- Track and communicate technical progress to project leadership.
- Troubleshoot test-system hardware and software issues.
- Support test-equipment development through integration verification and deployment.
- Full-time onsite in Tewksbury Massachusetts.
- First shift.
- 40 hours per week.
- $68.25$100.03 per hour.
