Test Design Lead

The System Test Design Lead (TDL) champions product calibration and test strategy while balancing tradeoffs between quality / customer experience and operational requirements (assembly/test processes and costs). The TDL integrates with various teams across design software and operations on new product definition to enable product characterization and provide efficient test solutions for high volume manufacturing.

Lead convergence u0026 maturity of the product calibration u0026 test line through all system builds phases; see around corners identify potential risks and develop product protection solutions / risk assessments where needed.

Bachelor Degree in Engineering EE/CE Masters degree preferredn5-10yrs experiencenExcellent understanding of hardware/software architecture and interoperability of complex experience with integration of one or more of the following technologies: acoustics sensing (motion touch) transducers imaging displays electrical interconnect and protocols (I2C SPI UART USB etc..).

Experience with FMEA and FA processes - root-cause investigations of issues and recommendations for design of statistical data analysis build leadership ownership for factory cal/test strategy and bringup interfacing with factory an understanding of physics and electronics; is capable of applying creativity common sense and technical skills to tackle sophisticated problem solving technical leadership and/or project management experience with excellent oral and written communication to travel domestic (if required by home location3day trips) and internationally 5-10% of the time in 10-12 day trips.
