This position supports product development through structured test planning execution data collection and failure analysis. Major Tasks Responsibilities & Key AccountabilitiesDevelop test plans procedures and instrumentation setups to evaluate machine systems components and performance laboratory and field-based validation tests including durability cycles structural testing hydraulic performance tests and functional machines using sensors and data acquisition systems to capture critical performance collected data to identify trends deviations root causes of failures and opportunities for design detailed test reports and communicate findings to engineering design and leadership prototype build activities including system integration checks and design feedback during machine accurate records of test conditions equipment status test hours calibration information and test in continuous improvement activities for test methods processes and duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree in mechanical engineering Agricultural Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related technical with product testing validation or engineering development (internships and co-ops included).Ability to interpret engineering drawings specifications and CAD in mechanical hydraulic or electrical system analytical skills and ability to work with test data and measurement communication skills (written and verbal).Must pass any drug screens background checks and any pre-employment tests which will be conducted in accordance with applicable QualificationsExperience testing heavy equipment offhighway machinery or automotive -on familiarity with sensors (strain gauges pressure transducers accelerometers) and data acquisition of reliability engineering practices root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode analysis (FMEA).Experience with hydraulic electrical and powertrain system testing CANbus tools and or diagnostic aptitude and the ability to perform hands-on machine inspections and instrumentation Skills Abilities & CompetenciesStrong problem-solving and analytical to work in a high-stress -oriented and able to work approach to resolving issues impacting various groups across the to understand processes (system and non-system) troubleshoot develop and recommend working in a dynamic environment and be a self-motivated team knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word Excel PowerPoint Teams and Microsoft ConditionsManufacturing/factory environment.
