Job Summary

Title - Teradata Data Warehouse Architect

ID - 136606

Client - State of Michigan

Location - Hybrid Lansing MI

- Candidates must be local to the Lansing Michigan area (within 90 miles) at time of submission. This requirement is non-negotiable

Required Qualifications:

10 years Teradata experience - top requirement
Experience supporting the loading of data from multiple source systems
Ability to provide targeted training and technical guidance to development teams for troubleshooting and batch support
Minimum of 5 years of Linux experience
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Strong decision-making skills with the ability to determine appropriate solutions while adhering to SoM and MDHHS/DTMB policies
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills particularly in troubleshooting complex data and system issues
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous government experience or State of Michigan experience
Experience with cloud-based BI tools
Experience with cloud-native platforms ( AWS GCP or Azure ) preferred.
