Job Summary

65% - Assist with the reviewing of code and data as it pertains to the Kansas City Coalition for Career Readiness and Digital Skills Among Justice-Involved Women project. This includes survey data collection.
30% - Interpreting the quantitative and qualitative date from the Kansas City Coalition for Career Readiness and Digital Skills Among Justice-Involved Women project to assess project outcomes and impact.
5% -Other duties as needed
Position Overview
The Institute for Policy & Social Research (IPSR) is a faculty-driven research center supporting social scientists who focus on social problems and policy-relevant research questions. The Institute for Policy & Social Research at the University of Kansas invites candidates to apply for a temporary workerposition. The position is expected to begin as early as October 1 2026. IPSR is seeking candidates who aspire to become academic researchers in assistingcommunity-engaged temporary worker will work closely with Dr. Hyunjin Seo.

Professor Hyunjin Seo is looking for a highly-motivated temporary worker interested in assisting community-engaged research projects related to digital skills and career readiness training for underserved women in the U.S. Midwest. The temporary worker is expected to collect manage analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to assess project implementation outcomes and impact. This is a 5-hour per week position running from October 1 2026 May 31 2027.

KU is a Research 1 (RU/VH) institution the flagship of the Kansas system and a member of the Association of American Universities (AAU). It is located in Lawrence a thriving and progressive community which lies close to Kansas City.

We are unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this position. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.

  1. High school diploma OR GED.
  2. Experience collecting organizing cleaning coding and maintainingquantitative and qualitative project dataas evidenced by resumeor cover letter.


  1. Effective verbal and written communication skills as required by previous experience.
