Temporary Work Stoppage Support Staff

District Objective: Ventura Unified School District is establishing a pool of temporary workers who may be called upon to support essential school operations and student services during a potential strike or other labor-related work Work Stoppage Support Staff may be assigned to custodial services food services and child nutrition paraprofessional or student support campus supervision or clerical and office support. Assignments will be made according to District needs applicant qualifications and temporary assignments are intended to help VUSD maintain safe campuses and continue essential services for students during a work stoppage. Individuals selected for this pool must be willing to report for temporary work during such a work stoppage and support the continuity of essential services for VUSD students and schools.
