Temporary CFC Personal Trainer

Temporary CFC Personal Trainers are service-oriented staff who help students to engage in healthy physical activity during their time at Cornell. This position interacts with students one on one within our fitness centers to provide them with fitness consultations design exercise programs instruct them about exercise recommendations and lead them through workout sessions. The duties may also include shifts in the fitness centers helping general members with their workouts answering questions regarding exercise and/or delivering instructional special event programs.

*Pay rate: $20.00-24.00/hour (based on experience)

*Must complete training within one month of hire*

Required Qualifications:

• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification (a short grace period is allowed to acquire first aid certification).
• Nationally recognized & accredited Personal Trainer Certification (e.g. NSCA ACSM ACE NASM ISSA etc.) that is maintained and current.
• Previous experience working as a Personal Trainer (newly certified individuals are encouraged to apply).
• Experience modeling values that support inclusion belonging and wellbeing.
