Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to care for patients admitted to a Medicine/Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. This role requires strong Med Surg and Telemetry skills due to the complexity of the patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to Medicine and Med Surg Telemetry patients.
• Monitor patients and recognize changes in cardiac and clinical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Assess patients and document care accurately in EPIC.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team.
• Provide safe high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg Telemetry experience.
• Higher level of clinical proficiency due to the complexity of the unit.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only.
• Must be able to work rotating days/nights weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Professional nursing certification preferred such as Rehabilitation Nursing or another recognized specialty certification.
• 1-2 years of Med Surg or Telemetry experience.

Required Before Start
